Efficient Solid-Liquid Separation System
The Indofab Hydrocyclone is designed for efficient densification of solids or clarification of liquids in process streams containing a low percentage of suspended solids. Using high centrifugal force, it effectively separates fine and coarse particles based on their specific gravity differences.
Feed slurry is introduced tangentially under pressure, converting inlet pressure into rotational kinetic energy. This creates a strong vortex inside the cyclone, where coarse particles migrate to the wall and discharge through the underflow, while fine particles and clarified liquid exit through the overflow.
Indofab Hydrocyclones deliver consistent separation efficiency across varying flow rates through parallel, inline, or radial distribution configurations. For enhanced performance, multistage arrangements can be employed to increase separation efficiency, capacity, or enable multi-stage washing.
